This charming and comfortable self-catering holiday apartment is located in the quiet Estefânia district. It is in one of Sintra's beautiful turn-of-century chalets, a villa in a tree-lined street near the local market hall and close to the <a href="http://mirror.berardocollection.com/?ToplevelID=41&amp;lang=en">Museum of Modern Art</a>. Transformed into a modern, luxurious flat of about 180 squaremeters - distributed over two floors, Casa José Ricardo holiday apartment provides the comfort and space that are essential to relax and feel like at home.<br /><br />On the 1st floor are the kitchen, dining room and living room, giving access to the terrace, a double bedroom and a full bathroom. On the top floor of the building are three spacious rooms with high ceilings and visible roof beams. Two are double-bedrooms with queen-size beds. The third room has a single bed and we also keep here a small bed for a child and a travel-cot. This room has also an ironing board. Thereis also a full bathroom with bathtub/shower and bidet on this floor, and an elegant en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower off one of the double-bedrooms.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Feel like at home</span><br />Games, guidebooks, books, maps, a large flatscreen TV and DVD player, you can choose from a wide range of DVDs in our library free of charge. There is a radio/CD player as well as a telephone and free internet access is at your disposal.<br /><br />If you fancy cooking, our kitchen is properly equipped with a cooker, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Besides utensils, plates, glasses and cookware, kettle and a coffeemaker, there are spices and Portuguese cookbooks, in English and other languages. You will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. A cot and a small bed for a child as well as a high-chair are available. We provide towels and linens, and a choice of pillows.<br /><br />Thick stone walls let the house stay cool in summer and a central heating keeps it cosy on colder days.
